Do you offer direct billing for extended health insurance?

Not yet. At this time, we do not offer direct billing for extended health insurance plans. Clients pay for sessions via credit card through Jane, E-transfer or cash, and then submit their receipts to their insurance provider for reimbursement.

Will my insurance cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)?

Many extended health plans cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Coverage depends on your specific plan, so we recommend confirming details directly with your insurance provider.

We only support adolescents and adults (15 years and older).

 Please wait outside the office until your scheduled appointment time.
 For evening and weekend appointments, please text your therapist or the clinic at 604-449-8549 to let us know you have arrived.

Surrey Location
 📍 300-9850 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC
 Free parking is available in the underground parking for up to one hour in the spots marked “SPACES” near Save-On-Foods.
 Take the elevator to the 3rd floor, then text your therapist or the clinic at 604-449-8549 once you arrive.

Langley Location
 📍 24203 Douglas Crescent, Langley, BC
 Please text your therapist when you arrive for your appointment.

Is parking available?

Burnaby Location:
Our office tower is directly behind Metrotown and the Metrotown skytrain station. 
Pay parking is available outside the office tower, and in underground parking.

Surrey Location
Our office is located in King George Hub in SPACES offices. 
Free underground parking is available near Save-On-Foods. The elevator is located inside the black wall labelled SPACES.

Choosing the right therapist is an important part of the process. We recommend reviewing our therapists’ profiles and booking a free consultation to explore fit, approach, and comfort level. You’re also welcome to switch therapists if your needs change.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many of our therapists identify with these groups, and we bring both lived experience and professional training into our work. We understand the complexities of navigating multiple cultures, identities, family expectations, and systems, and we strive to offer counselling that is culturally responsive, affirming, and grounded in respect.

Anxiety is a common reaction to certain life events, functioning like an alarm that informs us of potential danger. All of our emotions, including anxiety, are equally important and functional. Occasional anxiety is a common part of life and can actually be helpful in certain situations, as it can motivate us to take action and be alert.
 
Anxiety serves a purpose. However, when it becomes overwhelming and uncontrollable it can cause significant pain and suffering. It can make it impossible to lead the life that you want to live.
 
Like other emotions, anxiety is a holistic experience that triggers a mental (images, memories, urges) cognitive (thoughts) and physiological (body) response.
